Pediatric outpatient therapy clinic serving families of children with special needs looking for an Experienced Receptionist
This is a friendly office (casual dress code) where you are the first one with whom new referrals will speak, first, by phone, then in person. Ability to work well as a team member is a MUST!!! Must also love kids.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
1. Managing of our front office
and working to support our team of clinicians and four other administrative personnel.
2. Answering busy front office phones
3. Filing, faxing, copying documents (attention to detail is important as medical records are part of the
job
4. Computer proficiency
5. Maintaining all office machines (including arranging service when necessary)
6. Providing administrative support to the Director of the clinic
7. Ordering of office supplies
8. Ordering of toys and therapy supplies for our therapy shop and clinic
Qualifications/requirements:
1. Minimum 1 year office administrative experience (Medical office peferred)
2. Excellent computer skills that include Word and Excel
3. Complete knowledge of the Internet, email, Outlook, etc.
4. Outstanding communication skills with a sense of humor
5. Exceptional customer service approach with a pro-active attitude
6. Excellent organizational skills and follow through
Hours M-F 10:00-6:00.
